neighborhoods, and they don't have any housing stock to go to, no assisted living facilities, nothing. A lot of suburbs are like this, and they end up losing these long-term residents simply because they (the suburbs) don't want housing like this in their own backyards.

We see this in the STLMO area too. Thus, as a result, the city of STLMO ends up being the 'catch all' of all of these residents, who can't find housing in their very own former neighborhoods. A shame.

was trying to block zoning for what would have been a decent and needed assisted living facility.

Cursed out a bunch of pissants who felt it would hurt our neighborhood.

We changed the zoning laws at the state level to allow people the choice of sub dividing or building rental properties on their land regardless of the wishes of cities and counties.
