Every once in a while, I pop over to RWNJ to see if they'll get their facts straight...

Invariably, they never do.

Case in point:

Here's a nifty article from that rag that's not even fit to be used as toilet paper, The New York Post.

https://nypost.com/2022/01/23/aaron-rodgers-slams-biden-after-unvaccinated-qb-joke/

Dripping with anti-intellectualism, COVID misinformation, white grievance, victimhood and dumbassery, it features the poor, put upon and most recent NFL QB loser, Aaron "Mr. Fucking Football" Rogers complaining that President Biden hurt his widdle fee-fees by stating (quite accurately) that, "This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated."

Rogers, that famed amateur epidemiologist and whiny-assed loser, in his anguish over what the mean old President has said about his own particular lifestyle choice quite eloquently stated:

“But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which — how do you even trust them? — but then they come out and talk about 75 percent of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities. And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated, that’s not helping the conversation.”

Yes... As if being vaccinated, even with pre-existing conditions, has less positive outcomes than healthy people who are, you know... unvaccinated. Sounds, ridiculous, right?

Of course, it does.

But that won't stop the NYP from chiming in with half-truths of its own:

:A CDC study found that just 36 of a group of 1,228,664 people who were fully vaccinated between December 2020 and October 2021 died because of the virus, and most of them had pre-existing conditions."

The true part is correct, the study listed 36 deaths of vaccinated individuals with comorbidities. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7101a4.htm

But what The Post didn't do was refer to ANOTHER CDC study of UNVACCINATED individuals, because that study would blow the Post's lies of omission and Rogers' bullshit argument completely out of the water:

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7104e2.htm

Under a just released CDC study entitled: "COVID-19 Incidence and Death Rates Among Unvaccinated and Fully Vaccinated Adults with and Without Booster Doses During Periods of Delta and Omicron Variant Emergence — 25 U.S. Jurisdictions, April 4–December 25, 2021 Early Release / January 21, 2022 / 71," it clearly indicates that both infections AND deaths of unvaccinated individuals has skyrocketed:

FIGURE. Weekly trends in age-standardized incidence of COVID-19 cases (April 4–December 25, 2021) and deaths (April 4–December 4, 2021) for unvaccinated compared with fully vaccinated persons,* overall and by receipt of booster doses† and national weighted estimates of variant proportions§ — 25 U.S. jurisdictions¶

As you can see on these charts, thanks to the Delta Variant, infection rates for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals rose concurrently. However, where the rubber meets the road in freaking DEATHS, only the UNVACCINATED died at a significantly higher rate. Deaths for the vaccinated, for all intents and purposes, practically flatlined. Deaths in vaccinated and boosted individuals are only slightly higher for those with comorbidities. And go back to what Rogers said about that, he actually admitted that a vaccinated person has to be sick in four different ways to have risk for death. In the vaccinated, yes, COVID is riskiest for the sickest among us, but he fails point out that in the UNVACCINATED, COVID is riskiest for all of them.

And let's not overlook the FACT that people most likely to engage in risk taking behaviors, behaviors that would increase the likelihood of spreading infections are those who are stubbornly UNVACCINATED. These are people who would also lie about their vaccination status, seek to obtain fake vaccination cards, refuse to wear masks in public, refuse to engage in social distancing violently oppose vaccination and mask mandates, spread misinformation... Basically act out as some kind of misguided, zombified white grievance apocalyptic death cult, with The New York Freaking Post (and whatever internal anti-COVID guidelines that itself mandates for its own employees) cheering them on.

These are the VERY people who make this "a pandemic of the unvaccinated."

All-in-all, the RWNJ world and whatever organs it claims as a "press" is what's causing the most harm to this country. These fools are dangerous, all because they have adopted white supremacy and white grievance as a business model.

And of course, we are made even dumber and more in danger by taking the word of has been jock with daddy issues over that of the gawd-damned CDC and its charts.

I am the furthest thing from a medical expert, but I can read a freaking chart. I can also see that RWNJs are now and have always been full of shit.

In conclusion, I humbly request that points should be reviewed and even corrected anywhere I've gotten any of this wrong. Unlike Rogers and The Post, some of you are actual subject matter experts and I trust you to have a better take on this info than myself.

Thanks. Take care... And, please do me a favor, don't ever listen to Aaron "Future CTE Sufferer" Rogers.
