(23,457 posts)a few people will get that feeling in their gut, right before they admit to themselves that traitor is a liar and his henchmen are just as bad.

(22,883 posts)The clip of Chump mocking that disabled reporter was, for me, one of the most jaw-dropping moments in the whole jaw-dropping 2016 election cycle. That's when I saw EXACTLY who Trump was. I already had a pretty good idea, of course, but that's when I knew, absolutely, for sure, that Chump was not just an obnoxious blowhard, but a mean, ugly, cruel lowlife with a black hole where a soul should be. Even after all this time it still blows my mind that anyone who saw that clip and understood what he was doing could possibly even consider voting for him.
Yeah, yeah, I know plenty of people did, but it still blows my damned mind.

And they don't really care that Biden called Peter Doocy a bad name, either. They're just seizing what they see as an opportunity to attack Biden.

(35 posts)Trump isn't their idol. He is their tool. He was the slimey salesman that identified the market the MAGATs created to push their hate filled agenda. Once identified, he was the only one willing to debase himself to serve that market in the 2010s.
The entire MAGAT philosophy is STILL enraged over Obama, and Trump inserted himself as their masthead by being birther in chief. We get rid of Don the Con they will just select from the now long line of scum waiting to cash in on leading the fascist death cult with a contract on our democracy that dared to elect Barak Obama.
Trump isn't the disease. He is the symptom. I think we give TFG way too much attention and we haven't paid close enough attention to to the radical white supremacist TERRORISTS who pull his sick levers.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
