Does MSNBC really need the money that badly?

Those "Joe Biden is going to take your guns" commercials are totally unnecessary and a great harm to our society.

Yes, there is the right to free speech but no one has the right to yell "Fire!" in a crowded place if there is no fire.

Guns are an epidemic in this country already and MSNBC serves no purpose by promoting it in such a way.

Americans cannot live in "freedom" if there is fear and lack of security. This is what the gun virus is doing to us.

MSNBC should not be promoting it on the Joe Scarborough show.

The business model is and has been exceptionally clear for a very long time.

6. MSNBC doesn't "promote" commercials, they sell ad space.

I assume you don't want Fox News running pro-Democratic ads? (yes, they do).

We should be running ads about how the Republicans have voted agains anything that would help working class Americans. And we should be running them where the few marginally influenceable republicans are likely to see them.

9. In my opinion, ads should be about something bigger than Democrat vs Republican..

What’s bigger than Republicans seeking to kill democracy? Pointing out how they are indeed trying to do that would seem to make for pretty powerful ads.

Often the cable company doesn’t know a specific ad is on (or so they often say) until enough outraged viewers bring it to their attention.

So that is my recommendation: bring it to the attention of the MSNBC honchos. You can start soft, as in, “Perhaps you are unaware of the objectionable content…” or you can start hard, as in, “Sir I am a regular viewer and these gun ads are an abomination. We have an epidemic of gun violence, etc.”

I always encourage people to write.
