Responding on Thursday to a tweet in which Midler called West Virginia “poor, illiterate and strung out”, the Republican Jim Justice said she could kiss his dog’s “hiney”.

On Friday, Midler retweeted a picture of the stunt with the caption: “Here we can see a dog’s asshole. Right next to it is the butt of Jim Justice’s dog.”

Midler also tweeted: “Here are the state rankings of all the areas and agencies for which the so-called ‘governor’ of West Virginia, Jim Justice, is responsible. Judging from these rankings, I’d say his dog’s ass would make a better governor than him!”<

23. Bette Midler said nothing untrue

Her comments about WV were because of their choice of representatives. She wasn't kind, but she didn't lie. My husband and his family were from WV. I can see WV from my house. The current citizens are way different from the people I knew. The traits were there to manipulate, and it seems that not just West Virginians but people across the country are fearful and credulous.

In the meantime, justice ran as a Dem, switched to r, kisses traitor's ass, owes WV millions in back taxes, is a coal baron, and finally, has no class. I hope the dog doesn't suffer breathing issues because of his owner's humorless stunt.
