Sinema is not up until 2024. Kelly is up this year.
Can we stop worrying about Sinema and potential primary opponents and put all our efforts into reelecting Kelly and other Democratic Senators?
Please?

(26,757 posts)If Kelly loses this year, we probably lose Sinemas seat whether shes primaried or not
If we lose the Senate in '22, we may not have any options in '24.

(26,757 posts)If Sinema is the candidate, she cant win enough support on the left to keep the seat. If she is taken out in an ugly primary, the new candidate loses the benefits of incumbency and probably loses enough of the center to give the seat to the republicans if theyre already beat Kelly.
He needs to win and win convincingly

(42,372 posts)but 90% Sinema and 10% Kelly isn't multi-tasking, it's ignoring the soon upcoming midterms in favor of 2024.

(29,322 posts)I also donated to Charles Booker but Dems like Sinema are killing our chances at winning the midterms not to mention we arent getting anything done. I will vote for a primary challenge to Sinema as well.

(42,372 posts)but that won't happen until 2024, is my point.
Sen. Warnock needs our love also.

(10,839 posts)Sinema will have her day in 2024. Right now all attention and focus in Arizona should be on Kelly's reelection efforts.

(42,372 posts)too much time talking about a Sinema primary (which I hope happens) and not nearly enough time talking and working to get Democrats elected and re-elected this year.
