(38,553 posts)My sis was doing a DVR for me so that I could watch it later.
And yeah, I like to watch without knowing the end.
That's why I didn't click on your link in GD. You were kind enough not to spoil it in the title.

(9,112 posts)I can't imagine anyone on the internet getting as far as DU without seeing the final score. Clearly a different mind set. I looked throughout the forum to find an adequate sports place to post what I considered fabulous news. No sports section. But winey people would rather complain than share in the joy.
What a bummer this turned into.
Just put me on ignore. Please.

(7,722 posts)Not really following tennis as closely these days but there have been times I DVR'd or set things up to watch men's and/or women's finals later in the day/next day, avoided FB and other social media so I wouldn't know the results but have come to DU because I want to see the politics of the day. It's not a lot to ask someone to keep the outcome out of the Reply Title.

(36,841 posts)I don't give a hoot about tennis, but it wouldn't have been difficult to post "Men's Australian Open Final Results!"
It's just common courtesy when the match is held so early in U.S. time.
