Marjorie Taylor Greene calls vax mandates 'worst thing that has ever happened to America

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH– The COVID-19 vaccine mandates are the "worst thing that has ever happened in America," Republican Georgia U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told a crowd in a suburban hotel just north of Cincinnati.

About 200 people greeted "Hillbilly Elegy" author J.D. Vance and his new ally Greene on Sunday.

The rally was heavy in praise for former President Donald Trump and criticism for Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, and COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Greene, an ardent Trump supporter, endorsed Vance a week earlier in the crowded Republican primary to replace Sen. Rob Portman, who is retiring.

I'm not aware of anyone who has been forced, with no other recourse, to take a vaccine. Granted there are some who have lost their jobs for refusal, but as the rethugs are so fond of telling us, employment in this country is completely at will and the employee should be prepared to lose their job for any reason their employer damn well pleases.

Now, if they want to talk about standardizing unions and giving stronger protections to the worker so employees cannot be fired without specific cause, well i'm sure MTG and the Democrats could work on such a bill to everyone's pleasure.
