I understand that some would rather not confront that issue, but if, as you state, my OP was "whinging", I am in good company.

Many here and several former US prosecutors, law professors and attorneys well experienced in arguing before the Supreme Court are also wondering aloud why Trump has not been indicted.

Ad hominems are not arguments; they're excuses for not having an argument.

…he will still continue to proceed with a methodical investigation, with the goal of convictions, rather than speedy indictments that will get dismissed before reaching trial.

It’s all about the timing. The longer it takes to get the indictment, the closer it gets to another election. Trump is all about stalling court cases. He’s a master at that if at nothing else.

Garland needs to work harder and move faster. The fucking clock is ticking!
