More Americans died of Covid in the past 2 weeks than died of influenza in the past 3 years.

Deaths yes, but very few cases! which morphed to "I think I have a cold, gonna take the next few days off"
Feb 28 of 2020 was an eye opener for those idiots when the company texted everyone with "The office will be closed for the time being. Please contact the state unemployment agency. We will contact you with more information as it becomes available to us"
It's a great example of why I never formally discuss anything outside of my wheelhouse-- we too often come across as ignorant. I'm already stupid, I don't need to add another layer of flavor to it.
