Recall the economy crashed and was hollowed out just prior to POTUS Obama at great cost to most and great wealth for others and we were fortunate to have POTUS Obama lead us back to solid ground.

These items and others should have been promptly and severely addressed and were not and now we have the present.

If the head is cut off of the snake, there's a better chance of defeating Trumpism -- in elections and culturally -- and moving ahead with the Dem agenda. Certainly DeSantis and others are vying to be the next Trumpist leader, but if Trump himself is held accountable sooner rather than later (and not necessarily being in prison but, somehow, for the majority of the country to see him as the treasonous, corrupt bastard he is), others will be less successful in their march toward authoritarianism.
