he grew more desperate and hysterical and demanding. Because all his usual bullying tricks that he'd used to dominate people for years weren't working, anymore. And he was going to have to face the painful truth: that whether he liked it or not, or believed it or not, he was GOING TO BE leaving the White House on the morning of January 20th when the guy who beat him in November, Joe Biden, was due to take office.

After all, he had a "reputation" to protect. He'd gotten years of mileage out of the "I NEVER lose, I ALWAYS win" thing. And THIS would be the biggest black eye in that public face that he ever had to take delivery of. And he's still trying to avoid delivery of that - to this very hour!

Tough fucking shit, donald. Shut up and GO AWAY.

He knew he would need to grift some more in order to pay any legal bills. Of course the RNC and his pals will pay for that anyway. He can't help being the greedy asshole that he has been for 74 years. If there is a buck to be made, he will be sure to come up with another grifting scheme.

And there are still MAGAts galore to be happily shaken down.

What a complete, colossal, EPIC scoundrel.

And the real burn is this: we'll never be rid of him.

I say that because he's become such a giant figure in pop culture, comedy, politics, recent American history - even in history BOOKS because of that last job he stole his way into. Because President of the United States IS on that bastard's resume, our kids and grandkids and their grandkids will see his damn accursed face in some American history book they use in school. Or they'll read about him. For better or worse, he's on the list.

And he's been such a provocative character for so long that he generates copy galore. He owns a prime real estate parcel in the "Much Talked-About" neighborhood. He'll be written about in books, portrayed in movies and TV and stage and carnival show from now til Doomsday. I can see the headline in the "Hollywood Reporter" someday about who just got cast in the title role - and which part of his life, the young or middle-aged or older (White House years) the project covers. It'll be on the front page, following the usual "months of speculation."

Doctoral theses and what-if essays and flights of fancy will be written. And the authors/producers/directors/publishers/developers involved will all make a bundle on the interview circuit. There will be all kinds of hangers-on who'll dine out for years to come on the strength of every pipsqueak editorial or other organized wording about some version of "My Dinner with Donald."

He's the stain you can never get all the way rid of. He's the perennial homo sapient version of gum on your shoe.

Will we ever reach overkill on this subject? Not as long as somebody somewhere thinks they can make a few bucks off of it.

Despotic criminal scoundrel! And it’s even clean!

AND can be said in ANYONE’s presence, young or old, any gender preference, any color of the rainbow. Well, uh, except for the easily-offended right-wing snowflakes!!!

in the sneaky-ass way he had, never stating some directive outright, but rather, implying or inferring or using the veiled “code speak” that his underlings understood what he wanted done. And, again, not ACTUALLY saying what he wanted. He didn’t have to spell it out. They knew what he wanted.

And that way, he’s always been able to set up his own “plausible deniability” (I NEVER told ANYBODY to go out and snip those wires/start that fire/screw somebody over/fill in the blank here).

So you can expect certain behavior patterns from him because those same behavior patterns have worked for him so far, over all these years.

But everybody’s luck runs out, sooner or later. Vegas wouldn’t be thriving otherwise.

he would do that. Oddly, he may have been a voice of reason at the time because he allegedly stated using the military to seize voting machines was beyond the pale.

When stories like this break, I am hopeful, but the sources are still unnamed at this point...only familiar to those reporting the story.

Mr. Trump asked Mr. Giuliani to call Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, the acting deputy secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, to ask about the viability of the proposal, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Fingers crossed this becomes tangible evidence the DOJ can use. I'm not a lawyer, so for me, that recording of Trump? The find me the votes call should have been enough. Never heard of a U.S. president doing anything like that in my lifetime.

No, they say only the good die young. Using that measuring stick, Drumpf should live to be 270 years old or so.

Of course I don't believe those old wives' tales, but it's a more pleasant mind set than the crushing depression thinking he'll walk away from this untouched.
