there is a close race in the Pa. Democratic primary between Connor Lamb and John Fetterman. Lamb is the DNC choice and Fetterman is the people's choice, my choice. I will vote for lamb if he wins the primary but I am voting for Fetterman.

5. Conservatives don't like Fetterman, so here comes the dishonesty and smearing

The sensible centrist campaign is starting up.

So . . . here we go.

It's 4.5 years old and within the context of an electoral loss at the time. Yet it's intentionally and dishonestly presented as if it is recent and given no context. Sure, it's time stamped, but it would be highly relevant (and ethical) to highlight why it is being spread now. Maybe the title or the initial body, because many people don't read time stamps.

And it is very well-known that many people don't look at the date of things, especially when they're on the bottom. Look at the Twitter responses. People are responding to it as if it were said today. This is an intentional tactic to spread dishonest impressions. In this case, that Fetterman just up and decided to attack a Democratic Senator out of the blue this morning.

Looks like a repeat of the usual terrible tactics. "I will spend all the primaries smearing and attacking liberals and progressives. Then, when I've alienated them sufficiently, I will blame any losses upon them."

"Centrist" 101.

9. That was me - a ribbon at the bottom of an MSNBC report. It was "true" but it was pointedly biased..

John Fetterman tweeted this from his Twitter account. Yes, it was 4-1/2 years ago but he DID say it and he hasn't clarified it or deleted it. If memory serves me, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, and even President Biden, among others, were dragged over the coals for things they said much longer ago than 4-1/2 years.

Thanks for pointing out that old familiar campaign tactic.
They've used it on every D candidate. Pity that's all they got.

We see them.
