On Rope

We've all heard the saying "Give them enough rope..." with the implication that 'they' will plait that rope into a noose for their own necks.

And that does happen quite often, if you listen to the various law enforcement and investigative and intelligence agency experts.

But there is another possibility, which is "Give them enough rope... and they'll weave a cats-cradle tangle so complicated as to catch the pursuers in its meshes while they melt away."

At some point, paying out the rope becomes a greater risk for the investigators than the target.

Where are we now?

minatorially,
Bright

On my Microsoft home page this morning - where Raskin is saying due to the amount of information they have gathered - they (the 1/6 committee) may not be ready for prime time until April. I hope some of their targets have already won their primaries - and we send the GOP into disarray.

In Raskin I trust - even more so than the DOJ. And I think all hell will break loose from the 1/6 committee and Biden himself - if the DOJ doesn't act on it.

Biden won't 'politicize it' - but he may just remind the DOJ that they represent the law abiding Americans who believe in the Constitution and let the chips fall where they may.

I do not believe for one minute we will get that far . . . I think DOJ is going to let the Witch Hunt guy and all of its minions throw themselves into the water -

Then pull them down by that rope.

in my opinion they are. Why should I know where they stand? Not trusting government is the other sides game. I like thinking the pukes are squirming everyday. It fells real good.
