He has one of the newer Galaxy Notes with a secondary 1 terabyte msd card with some 600 gig of music he says. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't mostly from ripping his cds. Maybe even vinyl. He claims to have a lot of it.
He never has to stream.
Oh he says he buys a song once in a while from Amazon I think.

If I like some new music I tend to buy it from the artist directly, usually on CD.

(6,019 posts)2. I dropped Spotify for Tidal and it's awesome
Better sound quality, great recommendations and the artists get triple the pay of what they get from Spotify (which still isn't much, IMO, but it's something). I still buy a lot of records of those artists I really like. If you want to stream, Tidal is really good.
