(17,459 posts)I didn't think that Stills and Nash wanted anything to do with David Crosby.
Have they 'resolved' things?
That would be nice!

(1,000 posts)Anything that gets the guys talking on the same page makes me happy.
Rogan is like Limbaugh telling his audience that cigars wouldn't kill them, then he dies of lung cancer. I do think the free market can and should prevail. He will always have his meathead audience like Limbaugh had the dittoheads. But there is another side to that coin.
It is also the free market when artists do not want their product next to crap like that. Not to mention Spotify paid Rogan a bundle to be exclusive, and they have serious issues with paying the artist for their product.

(1,096 posts)... to see they came together and put aside their differences for this.
I saw CSN in concert a few years ago. One of the best concerts of my life, even at their advanced age. When the first chords of "Teach Your Children" rang out I cried like a baby.
Spotify can suck it.

(3,565 posts)to flying a plane into an IRS building to 1/6 to opening up the country during a pandemic to Covid vaccine refusals, these verbal terrorists know exactly what their words will provoke in many of their brainwashed, servile minions.
And it is completely on purpose.

Madonna used to say that when she was first making lots of pop-culture noise. That was her stated reason for everything she did. To provoke.
I kept wanting to ask - provoke WHAT?
Wanting to provoke just for the sheer joy of provoking just leaves me cold. To provoke? You mean, to stir shit up just for the sheer joy of stirring shit up?
And what earthly good does that do for the rest of us? What the hell does that do to benefit the greater good?

Good job though.

(25,961 posts)Damn, I'd pay big bucks to see them again. Saw them at a Giants game in 1980 and they were so spectacular, amazing harmonies - I would love love to see them again, at a full concert. They are one of my all time faves, Ohio, Teach Your Children, Slver Ships,
woodstock, my oh my!

(82,849 posts)You can hear the final studio product there in the song, and its exposure to the other singers (Young, Nash, and Crosby) turned a really good song into a great one.
