Dominion to Mike Lindell: No settlement for you because you're a 'schoolyard bully

I will enjoy weeing Lind going into bankruptcy

“The proverbial ‘schoolyard bully who can’t take a punch’ is not even the right analogy,” the lawyers wrote. “Lindell and MyPillow are bullies who, after attacking their victim in the schoolyard, claim that the victim is forbidden from going to the nurse to dress his wounds, or to the principal’s office to have them held accountable.”

“It is no stretch to say that these counterclaims threaten the rule of law,” they continued. “If allowed to proceed, they would impose liability on innumerable parties engaging in ordinary, day-to-day acts of litigation.”

Dominion filed a $1.3 billion defamation suit against Lindell in February of last year over his false claims that the company’s voting machines enabled mass voter fraud in the 2020 election. Dominion is also suing former Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell for making similar claims.

into a first-class company that makes high-quality products and deliveries customer satisfaction. And, no job for Lindell. Well, maybe he could pickup the cigarette butts in the parking lot.

For defamation law firms. There's no way they're not seeing this all the way through.

Where in the article is it quoting any source that a settlement was offered or discussed?

The facts are that a countersuit was filed by Lindell and Dominion filed a motion to dismiss it. The case is interesting enough without having to concoct fake settlement discussions.

Or confusing (or being sloppy with) settlement versus judgement - which often times are used interchangeably.

Either way, nothing to get upset over.

They report on the motion to dismiss so they knew it happened. They title the article as though a settlement discussion was in progress and ended based on nothing whatsoever.

That is perhaps not shit journalism, but at best, trash journalism. It leaves their readers with an impression of events that happened that never did.

The facts are there. Report on the facts. Don't imply events occurred that didn't.

This type of article is dead simple to write. You summarize the facts and call each side for comment to give the story a bit of substance. Send it out the door. No need to make shit up.

I’m not a lawyer but most of this is plain English.

You can just feel the sarcasm and contempt for Lindell’s clown lawyers ooze of the pages.

I think these lawyers know better but they have giant man babies as clients so they do their best. Like trump suing Maher for calling him an orangutan. Lol.
