[To be fair, despite everything Pence did, or didn't do, during his 4 yrs as VP, he resisted the most sustained pressure campaign the Trump WH mounted against any single person, and by refusing to leave the Capitol on 1/6, might have saved the country from existential crisis.]

I tried to point out the importance of Pence's actions here on the forums in DU and was roundly shouted down.

The date? 6-JAN-2021.

So, blech. It's not news to me and do I think better of Pence due to his actions? No, he's merely a good American. It does add to my disgust of the vast majority of the GOP.
