That is one reason the Rethugs (Thugs -thuggery - get it? Another meme) do so well with Jane and Joe Sixpack.

Steve Schmidt wrote many of the successful memes that over the years the Rethugs clubbed us with.

About time we turned the tables.

I don't particularly like the man (but there are some great Dems who I don't like either, but I support them), don't really trust him except as 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'.

We need to Win in 2022 and 2024 and any ethical, moral, legitimate, sane way is ok by me.

You are a traitor.

Period.

Ask every Republican Candidate if they think the people who tried to interfere with our democracy should go to jail. If they say no, then call them traitors.

Pretty simple message.

Sample Campaign Message: My opponent wants America to be a dictatorship. There is no other way to put it. If you want a Democracy where your vote actually counts, vote for me. If you want America a dictatorship, vote for my opponent.

Repeat, repeat, and repeat. Say it 10 times before saying anything different.

Democrats cannot "message" as Democrats will not receive and follow a message. A herd of cats won't respond to that. The Rs have authoritarian followers who will parrot the message. Democrats think for themselves. No "message" will get parrotted. It's just inapplicable.

I share that wish. WE need that kind of messaging talent. I don’t understand how so many of our Dems still don’t get that.

Sometime in the last few days I heard someone on TV defending, saying Biden just made a speech about it - whatever it was. As though that was enough. Job done. Time to move on.

My heart fell. ONE speech??? And that’s IT? Hell, he’s got to speak about it EVERY DAY! MULTIPLE TIMES!!! A single speech just won’t do it. Doesn’t even BEGIN to do it. And where’s his “amen chorus”? We should be messaging, aggressively and relentlessly. And all hands in deck.

And always on OUR A-game.

anytime a crime is done by a black person.

The fact is white people in the middle which can decide the election will be more angry over things like stores being looted by black people than they will over anything done by white people.

People who are disgusted by this are already supporting Democrats. The rest will either bite democratic if they think things like economy will be better with Democrats or they will vote republican if they are going to vote on something like this

This is merely anecdotal but most people I come across are more interested in kitchen table issues than protecting democracy. Sad but that’s my observation. I think we should run on fixing inflation, getting a public option, and other bread and butter issues. And if we’re successful, our democracy will be saved as a side bonus.

The M$M wants ratings and profits, issues are boring to them.

Traditional politics are dead until we get rid of the Authoritarian Rethuglicans.

Regular issues and discourse have largely failed us for the last 20 years.

It's time we understood the definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over and naively expecting different results.
