GOP Mocked For Calling Jan. 6 Capitol Riot 'Legitimate Political Discourse'

TWITTER GOES AFTER THE GOPigs ......GOP Mocked For Calling Jan. 6 Capitol Riot 'Legitimate Political Discourse' -- As one Twitter user noted, the GOP's definition of "legitimate political discourse" includes "5 Dead. 140 officers injured. $30 million in damages. Feces smeared on the wall."

Many Twitter users took the GOP’s suggestion that storming the Capitol to change the results of an election was “legitimate political discourse” as the gaslighting it was.

Deb Butler @DebButlerHD18
I’ve engaged in a lot of “legitimate political discourse” over the years and it never involved clobbering a police officer with a flag or scaling the wall of a government building.

Chris Hayes @chrislhayes
The RNC resolution is actually considerably worse and more debased than I had anticipated.
