Psychologists kept warning parents they were on a bad track.

The constant praise of children with no basis.
The refusal to discipline children because they would not be happy.

Real self esteem is based upon actual achievement.

Refusing to discipline children, not teaching them right from wrong produces sociopaths.

Of course you can boost a child's self confidence.
Of course you don't have to be harsh.

But the self confidence should be based upon reality.
And a child must have a moral core.
There must be a sense of maturity, responsibility.

How do they feel about having their teachers threatened. How do they feel about book being banned? How do they feel about not being able to learn the true history of their country?

Are they aware they're being used as pawns in this power struggle?
