I was thinking of synonyms for republican. Things that I immediately come to mind are anti-democracy

Nazi, authoritarian, etc. I am sure many could add to the list.

So, I looked up synonym online. Here is what I found as the definition:

a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language, for example shut is a synonym of close.
a person or thing so closely associated with a particular quality or idea that the mention of their name calls it to mind.

Here is what is listed for republican on synomyn.com: egalitarian, anti-royalist, anti-monarchist, anti-fascist, rational. These should really be antonyms (a word opposite in meaning to another (e.g. bad and good ). These are certainly not what I think of when i see the word republican

[The word Fascist used as an insult:

As a political epithet, fascist has been used in an anti-authoritarian sense to emphasize the common ideology of governmental suppression of individual freedom. In this sense, the word fascist is intended to mean oppressive, intolerant, chauvinist, genocidal, dictatorial, racist, or aggressive.]

The USA presents itself to the world as a nation with a premier governmental system; a model to the world.

To be republican is to be anti-democratic and they are!
Republicans assaulting and limiting, essentially negating democratic voting.

Republicans are Anti-Americans, or as they prefer to be called, Pro-Putin-iskis.
