Centripetal means center-going or center-seeking. Gravity pulls you to the center.

I was waiting for someone to point that out.

And barametric pressure, if strong enough to keep you from floating off a planet, would also make it too difficult to walk on the planet. There would be no barametric pressure without gravity.

That's the most interesting thing about gravity, the more massive you are, the more you have of it.

Yet It's a weak force and can manipulate solar systems. There's a lesson there for us.

What they don't want to tell you is how many people profit from global warming. It opens up shipping lanes in the arctic so those folks are all about making it worse if they can. Then there are developers and construction to deal with rising sea levels. There are the folks who control clean drinking water in places that have worse droughts and wildfires now.

So there is money to be made in convincing people that it's all a hoax.
