(1,096 posts)Haven't seen any indication that anything is being shipped. Glad yours are coming. I was wondering if signing up the day before would mean that the order wouldn't be filled.

(5,337 posts)Ours will be delivered on Thursday. I ordered the first day.
Be patient, they're on it.

(115,899 posts)I'm guessing they're being sent out in batches, maybe by zip code, because there's no way to do it efficiently by individual address.

(17,500 posts)She ordered very soon after the site went live.
I ordered about six hours later and no communication other than the initial confirmation.
I saw a news story that 45 million orders were placed in the first six hours. I suspect that they are swamped.
Edit: I'm at 20 days and no kits.

(268 posts)I had ordered them before the official first day, but the kit was not mailed until 2 days before I received it. I got an email with tracking number when it was on its way.

I ordered the first day (1/18), received shipment e-mail yesterday early a.m saying they'd be delivered by Tuesday (tomorrow).
UPDATE: Yup, they're here. Expiration date on the 4 tests is 7/7/22, besting the ones my town just distributed with an expiration of 6/26/22.

(9,898 posts)Nothing. Maybe they are sending them based on the COVID numbers where the person is? COVID numbers have fallen off a cliff in my part of PA. Just a thought.

(25,987 posts)I don't know why some are being received so quickly and others not. It may be regional. I am in rural GA, so it's a pleasant surprise to me that they arrived so quickly.

(58,785 posts)would be a big number even if it didn't require the USPS to take on an entirely new function of delivery of relief supplies to a nation of 300 million. No doubt practicing how to meet the next pandemic or other national emergency, in addition to this one.
Our daughter ordered ours for us the first day while doing theirs, not here yet.
