I went to the official ordering site for the home COVID tests the day after it went live. When I entered my address, the site said that tests had already been ordered for that address. I asked my wife, but she said she hadn't been to that site.
Since we already had four of them we had purchased, I just shrugged and forgot about it.
But then, last Friday, four tests arrived in the mail. I have no idea how they got ordered, but they showed up in our mailbox.
Weird. I suppose there was some sort of automatic ordering, but I had not heard of it.

(11,294 posts)my daughter that ordered them for me. That was quit awhile ago, still no tests. I use the smell and taste technique, if I can I am good. Worked so far anyway.

(4,919 posts)... you may have received your neighbor's kit... This is a mess-up on the site, and they are still trying to resolve the issue. At some multi-family buildings or residential communities... They are only allowing one order per street address.

Amazon would kill for that technology.

(10,274 posts)Id gotten 5 from WA state. Those came really quickly, less than a week. Since I have a bunch now I tried one out this weekend. Not as bad as the PCR test they do at the Drs office.
