Got Federal Government COVID-19 Tests without Ordering

I went to the official ordering site for the home COVID tests the day after it went live. When I entered my address, the site said that tests had already been ordered for that address. I asked my wife, but she said she hadn't been to that site.

Since we already had four of them we had purchased, I just shrugged and forgot about it.

But then, last Friday, four tests arrived in the mail. I have no idea how they got ordered, but they showed up in our mailbox.

Weird. I suppose there was some sort of automatic ordering, but I had not heard of it.

2. Well, I have no idea. My wife ordered some from

somewhere else, so I wasn't all that concerned, but it's a little odd. Maybe it was my Medicare Advantage plan or a state thing based on our vaccination records. I just don't know.

Which makes it nice for me but I’ve spent a lot buying rapid tests.

3. I did the same thing and found it was

my daughter that ordered them for me. That was quit awhile ago, still no tests. I use the smell and taste technique, if I can I am good. Worked so far anyway.

4. Mine are supposed to arrive today. I requested them 1 or 2 days after you could place an order n/t

5. If you live in a multi-family building or address...

... you may have received your neighbor's kit... This is a mess-up on the site, and they are still trying to resolve the issue. At some multi-family buildings or residential communities... They are only allowing one order per street address.

6. Nope. Our Townhome has its own unique street address.

It's in a development of quad homes, and each one has its own street address.

9. I finally got mine on Saturday. I'd ordered the first day they were available

I’d gotten 5 from WA state. Those came really quickly, less than a week. Since I have a bunch now I tried one out this weekend. Not as bad as the PCR test they do at the Dr’s office.
