Saying you're "A Republican, but not a Trump Republican" is like saying you're "A serial killer, but not a Jeffrey Dahmer serial killer."

“Historians have a word for Germans who joined the Nazi party, not because they hated Jews, but out of a hope for restored patriotism, or a sense of economic anxiety, or a hope to preserve their religious values, or dislike of their opponents, or raw political opportunism, or convenience, or ignorance, or greed.

That word is "Nazi." Nobody cares about their motives anymore.”

He had a 94% approval rate with Republicans. That's all we need to know about the Republicans.

Trump defines the party. It was their choosing and he keeps their continuing support. When the leadership of the Party comes out and calls Trump a damn liar, a sore loser and a possible felon and gets a standing ovation by Republicans in the House and Senate, then they can begin to redeem themselves. Until that time, they will have to share their space with the rest of the Neo-Nazis.

Until they admit the truth about Trump, they will have to accept the blame for him. As of today, the Party is anti-American, anti justice and Anti American. The are the party of fear, hate and lies. There is not such thing as a good Republican today.

Trumpian Nazis. They thought there were limits to what government should do for people and that did not include death by biological warfare or financial disaster.

None of the people now professing to be No-Trumps saw fit to object to his excesses or those of the Republican Congress and Administration while he was in office, nor apparently since. While they may indeed regret having allowed hubris to over-rule reason I do not see that sense of doubt leading to meaningful reform. What is that exactly? Tea party-lite?

repubs openly show their goals, methods & dangerous ideas. For non-trump repubs to stay with the party when they vote means they are ignoring reality & is dangerous. Many voters do not want trump repubs back in charge. Roe and climate change are other motivators for voting.for the Dems. Finally the Dems need to win more elections. A slim majority with the Senate rules blocks the Biden/Harris agenda. The answer is more Senate wins.
