Peter Thiel stepping down from Facebook board to help elect Trump-loving candidates: NYT

Billionaire Peter Thiel is stepping down from the board of Facebook -- and the New York Times reports that he's doing it to focus on electing pro-Trump candidates in the 2022 midterm elections.

"Thiel sees the midterms as crucial to changing the direction of the country... and he is backing candidates who support the agenda of former president Donald J. Trump," writes the Times, citing a person "familiar with Thiel's thinking." "Over the last year, Mr. Thiel, who has a net worth estimated at $2.6 billion by Forbes, has become one of the Republican’s Party’s largest donors. He gave $10 million each last year to the campaigns of two protégés, Blake Masters, who is running for a Senate seat in Arizona, and J.D. Vance, who is running for Senate in Ohio."

Thiel has been a board member of Facebook since 2005, although the Times notes that his position on the board has become increasingly controversial as he has grown more overt in his support for the Trump agenda.

Just think he gets a slap on the back from a "guy" that had to change his business name because it was found that it was a messaging system to take down a country....and they had to change the name to Meta...so that it can continue to take government....

Then in this article we see how Citizens United.....continues to just fuck over the country and help take down or try to take down a democracy with a small d , because after all money is free speech....for "duded" like Thiel....

, foreign favors, & Zack Exley & Saikat Chakrabarti & Thiel's Stripe credit card processing & it's hidden dark money "unitemized" campaign contributions ,....and more..ran the game against Hillary in 2016 thru today.

There's a reason why they stopped her. She was the one candidate who vowed to end Citizen's United, and by god they weren't going to let that happen. To do so would blow up their march to one party rule.

They had to run a smear campaign against the entire Dem leadership, because they had to convince the populace that the Dem Party NEEDED to be replaced, albiet with their very own likeness of unlimited power.
They didn't hire politicians to run the dirty game, they hired activists.
Burn it down! Cried the Tea Party left fringe, the Koch, Thiel & Paul & Stein & the Cenk & Exley Libertarians
This is what Peter Thiel is all about..

The Secret Meeting Between Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel, and Donald Trump

Author Max Chafkin reveals alleged details about the 2019 meeting of Thiel, Zuckerberg, Trump, and Kushner.

The Daily Beast
Updated Oct. 22, 2021 11:53AM ET

Peter Thiel scares a lot of people. He’s the tech billionaire who was able to shutter Gawker and he holds a lot of influence in Silicon Valley and politics, and the intersection of the two.

On the latest episode of The New Abnormal, author Max Chafkin, whose upcoming book The Contrarian is all about Thiel, tells Molly Jong-Fast that “if there’s a Trump political party or a Trump faction, Thiel wants to be the Koch brothers to that faction.”

That’s because Thiel allegedly got richer than he already was during the Trump presidency. And that leads us to the secret meeting that he attended with then-President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, and Mark Zuckerberg in response to Zuck and Facebook coming under fire for manipulated ads whose targets included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as well as for supposedly suppressing conservative content—despite analytics proving otherwise.

The meeting is not news, but Chafkin shares some details that haven’t been in the news.

“Thiel told a friend, [and] according to the friend, Zuckerberg and Jared Kushner basically reached an accommodation…”
