He must be looking at the trucker demonstrations in Canada with envy.

(23,340 posts)Exit ramps from I-75, jammed.
Nothing is moving across the Ambassador Bridge. In terms of commerce, that's the busiest crossing between U.S. and Canada.

They'll be parked on a public roadway and there's no way they won't go without a toot or drink.
Once they step foot in their rig, they're fucked. Or check if they have open bottles in their cab.

(24,412 posts)Pass laws against people protesting by blocking traffic?!
Wuddles440
(1,123 posts)but that only applies to "antifa", BLM, and other liberal groups that they hate. They certainly aren't going to enforce such laws when their own supporters/cultists are engaged in these activities.

(12,375 posts)not all of us owner/operators are repukes, most of my trucker friends are against such an asinine move, it costs us money and time, so before you go slamming owner/operators, think of what's coming out of your mouth before you say it.
Emile
(22,740 posts)here.
MarineCombatEngineer
(12,375 posts)but every owner/operator I know is totally against what's going on in Canada, as you know, such idiotic actions will cost us time and money and most of us have expenses related to our profession that have to be paid, among other normal expenses.
If truckers in this country try shit like that, I, and every independent I know, will refuse to participate in such nonsense.
Have a great day.

(86,610 posts)I survived the strikes of the 1970s as an O/O. Was NOT fun. This is so stupid and smacks of the you-know-who agenda.
MarineCombatEngineer
(12,375 posts)I heard stories of truck drivers opening their trailer doors to show that they were empty to avoid the violence, alot of them were just going home to sit out the strike.

(86,610 posts)It was dangerous just trying to get back to the house to sit it out.

(12,262 posts)deaths are still high, but numbers will be declining as well. Apparently from the data, Omicorn "may" become reduced to the effect of cold or flu and will need yearly vaccinations such as what is happening with flues.
Mad_Machine76
(24,412 posts)So far unsupported by the science. Cases/numbers may be dropping from their highs but how do we know COVID has become endemic? So far, thats all speculation.

(2,403 posts)I listen to lefty radio here in MN. AM950. Matt McNeil had a doctor on yesterday who runs the models and everything he sees shows continued decline in both areas with nothing new on the horizon at the moment. It was a moment of good news but prefaced with the caution that things can change. He is supposed to be back on again soon to show the models further out.

(34,195 posts)OK, so I googled 'Sars 2 Covid' and found nothing.
I found :
SARS-CoV-2 stands for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
It is a virus that causes respiratory illness in humans.
Apparently COVID-19 is one type of SARS-CoV-2,
but one would not use SARS-CoV-2' to mean COVID-19.
Also, do you have any link for:
"from the data, Omicorn "may" become reduced to the effect of cold or flu" ?
