Her Husband Boasted That She Became ‘Speaker of the House’ on Jan. 6. Now She’s Been Sentenced to a Year of Probation

Nicole Prado, 30, spent around 20 minutes inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, when scores of Donald Trump supporters overran police to breach the building in order to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden‘s win in the 2020 presidential election.

-----------

In investigating Prado’s role in the Capitol attack, the FBI discovered a private Instagram conversation about Prado between two then-unidentified people that took place on Jan. 7.

“[They] ain’t gonna go after Nicole,” one of the users, who is unidentified in FBI documents, said in a private Instagram conversation.

Prado’s husband was similarly effusive of Prado’s participation in the Capitol breach.

“Please meet the new Congresswoman…she was in the Capitol…She stormed the Capitol… She’s the Speaker of the House,” her husband said in a video posted to Instagram after she left the Capitol building.

WTF.

She was in the Capitol when Ashley Babbitt was shot and actually filmed her getting taken out by paramedics.

In California, a carpool lane ticket is $490.

$1300 does not even begin to compensate the public for the damage done. These insurrectionists caused over $30 Million in damage to the Capitol. https://www.npr.org/sections/insurrection-at-the-capitol/2021/02/24/970977612/architect-of-the-capitol-outlines-30-million-in-damages-from-pro-trump-riot

She was an accomplice and collaborator.

She may not have damaged anything personally, but her intent was to help overturn the election by being inside the Capitol—aiding and assisting an insurrection. Skin color may not be an issue here, but it surely seems possible that the sentences and fines would have been much more serious had this whole group been black. The jail sentence for having marijuana can be much worse.

That the real cause of the insurrection and traitorous behavior is Not being held to account.

Even this woman's lawyer used that in her case.

"Robin (her lawyer) also said that the people “most responsible for Jan. 6” are people “in positions of power” who engaged in misinformation campaigns, and that they are the ones who need to be held accountable for the events of that day."

These Congress members who joined in the planning, the president who blabbered about "the big lie" and encouraged everyone to put him in as dictator, The Dept of Justice and FBI who knew the plans were being made and encouraged it, And Fox noise, Q and other communication outlets that encouraged the attack and spread the word. Why aren't any of them held to account?

Prosecute a few of them, especially the ones who took an oath to the Constitution, then you will see more appropriate punishment for levying war against their own country.

I have a feeling most of it comes from foreigners; Russia & China mostly, who are doing a GREAT job at dividing everyone.
But it seems like we would be able to KNOW where its coming from

I know state laws vary, I'm not sure about these specific charges. If felony probation means she can't vote while on probation, & thus can't vote in the midterms, I'm all for it.
