About Trump's coffee table book?

That he is now selling autographed copies for hundreds of dollars.

They have already sold out the first printing and are ready to print 300K more copies.

Did those photos belong to him or were they taken by the White House photographer? Were those photos part of the "documents" he stole from the White House?

If so, they belonged to the "government", the American people. He had no right to use them.

He is making money off property that belongs to the American people.

I thought about that too. I don't know where to look to find out if your statement about the photos belonging to the government is correct, but I would think you are.

"the people" - that is anyone and everyone. Not sure about the details of this specific instance.

Most U.S. government creative works such as writing or images are copyright-free.

I don't think the nefarious part of this is who owns the photos.

I think the nefarious part is the publisher is Trump Jr

Was it this book that he whined he could not get enough supplies to print it?

https://democraticunderground.com/100216293648

Former President Donald Trump claimed during a podcast Wednesday with former Fox Business host Lou Dobbs that he was unable to get the necessary supplies to print his book due to supply chain issues.
