Sidney Powell asks for sanctions order to be reversed, saying the judge unfairly portrayed her team

This nut case is upset that the judge called her and the other idiots by the proper designation. One does not file lawsuits based on conspiracy theories and then hope that the facts back up such conspiracy theories

Sidney Powell, the pro-Trump lawyer who was sanctioned over lawsuits that said the 2020 election was rigged, has asked for her punishments to be reversed, saying the federal judge unfairly painted her team as "overwrought, dangerous lunatics.",,,,

In her order, Linda V. Parker, a federal judge in Michigan, said Powell failed in her due diligence, used "speculation, conjecture, and unwarranted suspicion" in place of evidence-backed claims, and continued pursuing the cases long after they failed.

Parker said the case wasn't about election integrity — it was "about undermining the People's faith in our democracy and debasing the judicial process to do so."

I love this attack by Powell where she objected to having facts used against her to show that she is a nut case

Parker did "everything possible to make Appellants seem overwrought, dangerous lunatics," Powell said.

A nut case complaining that it is unfair to show that she is a nut case amuses me

This lady needs to be disbarred

If you go around acting like a lunatic, you're going to be portrayed as a lunatic.

The statements from "witnesses" were incredulous, and Powell and her team did no due diligence on any of them.

One of them went something like this:

"I was out walking my dog by the post office, and I saw some people putting some bags into a truck. They were joking and laughing. The next day I heard a bunch of suspicious votes were delivered to the place where they were counting votes. That must have been where those votes came from.

This idiot needs to be disbarred. She is too stupid to comply with the Court's rules for filing an appeal.

One-time "Kraken" attorney Sidney Powell just flopped again with a legal filing to appeal a U.S. District Court Judge's penalty for ethics violations in court.

Powell and other lawyers filed a complaint appealing financial penalties ordering them to pay $21,964.75 for attorneys' fees for defendants Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. Judge Linda Parker also said that Powell and other lawyers had to pay $153,285.62 for legal fees to the city of Detroit.

"But prior and subsequent lawsuits have pointed to very similar problems. And dozens of laws have been enacted by state legislatures in response to concerns similar to those raised in the complaint. Millions of Americans believe the central contentions of the complaint to be true, and perhaps they are," the filing says.

Reuters justice reporter Brad Heath tweeted that the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the brief, saying it didn't comply with a variety of the rules of Appellate Procedure.
