If anyone else benefits from their actions, it's purely coincidental.
Libertarianism is not a REAL viable political party, it's just a collective of takers and self-absorbed assholes. They are the main takers of public money, seeing whatever they can plug into as somehow 'deserved' while programs they can't plug into are somehow a 'tax' that they must pay.
They are so into themselves, as suffering from multiple DSM-IV symptoms (borderline personality, sociopathy, narciccism, etc.), that there has not been one successful Libertarian society of any kind, whether it be country, state, commune, whatever. Libertarians all want to be the main person and not be told what to do, so eventually there will be in-fighting and faction within the group. There will always be the Top Dog and the rest have resentment.
Also, they must take from others, so in society they try to seize power and assets from others.
