I am overwhelmed and humbled by all of the hearts!!!

Between my knee, the snow, and a jumble of sad anniversaries, this is a really emotionally rough time for me. Toss in self isolation and it's easy to become depressed. But I know I always have my AMAZING DU friends to connect with, share with, grieve with, share outrage AND victories with, and most important, to laugh with.

You all mean far more to me than you can ever imagine.

2. You're probably right!!! Right now they take up MOST of my world.

Mittens the Kitten ran down the snow path to greet me, again, this morning. Honestly, it's the best feeling in the world to watch them thrive. Hopefully I can soon move their bowls back to a location where I can keep an eye on who is showing up.

4. AND Madoc didn't pounce on my head, this morning, to wake me up!

Instead it was Gryff cooing me a good morning song. That was MUCH nicer!

5. When you rescued those ferals and

handled them all so kindly and with so much devotion, you captured a lot of hearts and became family.

So much awfulness in the world and you became a daily dose of sunshine and fresh air.

6. Successfully socializing the feral kittens was the one of the most satisfying things I've ever done

Seeing how Cinder and Smoke are thriving in their Chicago home and having Madoc, and now Gryff, to keep me company and entertained - a wonderful feeling. Gryff has settled in as if he was a part of the original litter.

I'd do it all again, in a heart beat.

I have a cat who literally keeps me sane and helps me sleep every night. I love it.
