Representative (?) Hal Rogers said KMA to Joyce Beatty for

Having the EFFRONTERY to ASK him, a White Man, to put on a mask.

He decided she needed to be put in her place, which some white men do, not infrequently, to women and to POC.

His “apology” was a string of cooked spaghetti.

He’s 84 years old. Maybe he should be tested for dementia. I mean, cognitive function or whatever it is they’re calling it.

OK, I’m saying that just because I think he’s an asshole. But what I described is exactly what I think it was doing, putting her in her place, let her know he is the Dominant whatever.

These Republicans are so damn rude. They are like a rude middle school kid.

such bullying (especially by white male to woman of color) that included aggressive touching (poking her in the back), would result in either immediate dismissal or suspension.
It seems that as a member of Congress, he would be held to a higher standard.
I have to wonder how his constituents feel about it. I had read that his district is the 2nd poorest district in the nation. I am sure that many of his constituents would rather that he use his time in Congress in trying to bring jobs to those communities, instead of being a bigoted jackass.
