Dave Chappelle personally came to a city council meeting and threatened to remove his $65m dollars of investments from his city if they allowed a developer to move forward with an affordable housing program. The objection wasn't to the build, but the affordable housing component.

13. The homeless situation in my southern

Oregon area is very high, desperate and heartbreaking. Our place backs to a green space. Campers come and go... Medford police have a whole unit dedicated to the homeless, The Livibility Team. Blegh. Not much to do with living or dignity. It's illegal to camp, illegal to lay down in the parks, illegal for a person to be in possession of a shopping cart, and the store the shopping cart is from, is subject to a fine. It's become even more hopeless than it was a few years ago.

Same opposition to affordable or helpful housing. The folks who want to build more middle class neighborhoods are rubber stamped through city council. Affordable housing or helping housing has to crawl through years of red tape, jump over every road block and then, if something does get built, it's pretty much in asphalt neighborhoods. Depressing as all get out.

Jackson county Oregon is blood Trump red. It's so bad now, these dolts want to become part of Idaho. I wish they would all just move, and save the rest of us the grief. 🤨
