Figure Skating: Why would a 15 year old test positive for a cardiac drug?

Was this positive result from an older test? The reporting is a bit confusing and needs a lot more explaining.

The drug is Trimetazidine and is used to treat angina.

Trimetazidine is used (in countries outside the USA, where it has not been approved by the FDA) to treat angina, an ischemic heart condition. While the drug doesn't have the vasodilation properties of other anti-ischemic medications, such as nitroglycerine, it does improve left ventricular function, and helps the body make more efficient use of oxygen; both, obviously, are helpful in improving athletic performance.

She's an amazing skater and can land multiple quads during a performance. Most woman skaters can't even land one quad. The men have just been doing them in competitions in the last decade. In 2010 the man who won the gold medal didn't even do a quad even though the man who came in second did...it was a bit of a controversy.

The Russians have been doing this for years, I am happy they are calling them out for it. Use of steroids and other enhancers gives any athlete more stamina.
