SMASH-AND-GRAB ROBBERY: Cell phone video shows about a dozen people with masks and hammers inside a mall jewelry store in Central California busting glass display cases, stealing merchandise and taking off with the goods.

They didn’t pay overtime or violated minimum-wage laws. They’ve misclassified people who should be employees. They’re making the wrong deductions. They’re making people work off the clock. It’s all wage theft.

* $9.27 billion was stolen from workers who earned less than $13 an hour in 2019 alone.
