WTF? This is one of the cultist delusions I just don’t get. It’s a fantasy out of nowhere and nothing… How does one become so stupid to believe such a thing?

and not mere ignorance.

Ordinary citizens might not know that the Capitol Police are not under the Speaker's command, but actual members of the House would know better. They have deliberately lied when they've made this claim.
