Screw Pete Williams,

He is the msnbc justice correspondent. I only watch Nicolle, Chris, and Rachel. I made a mistake today and turned it on while riding my bike. Pete Williams says this isn't that big of a deal, they all do it to some extent, no one can prove intent just because Trump tore up documents. (I am now pedaling faster) This is the screamer, he said we don't know who boxed up and loaded the boxes and who delivered them to Mar-el-Loco, as if DOJ should be looking to arrest some White House aid and a couple of U-Haul drivers.

Screw this shit, every channel pushes the same narrative, that's how I can tell the fix is in. Let's move on to inflation.

I am still burning calories from the top of my head. Damn I miss Nicolle and Rachel. They all do it, they all communicate with burner phones and encryption.

Did I say screw Pete Williams?

1. He's just another tv talking head whose opinion is no more important

than yours or mine. The only opinions that matter in this respect are those of the 1/6 committee and the DoJ. He is correct in saying that it is necessary to determine who decided to take the documents and why, and whether there was classified info in those documents (that is a BFD), but opinions are like assholes - everybody has one.

5. He is falsely equating throwing out some non-classified or sensitive information

to Trump's habits of tearing and trashing every paper (most likely ones with information he doesn't like or want to hear) in toilets. As much as I disagree with other ex-presidents politics, I believe all of them respect the office and know about the sensitive nature to the job and the information gotten as president. Other ex-president would have handled the real classified and sensitive information with care and proper procedure.

But not Trump. He has shown time and time again that he doesn't care about the sensitive nature of the job. He outed the navy seal position or identity from his photo op in office. He said something sensitive in meeting with Putin and then has to declassify those after the fact.

Though, I have to agree with him on the legal side of things. I doubt we can find those paper that he thrown down toilet to show he has mishandle real classified information. We are months or years away from him doing those deeds so we can't find real evidence to prosecute him, at least on this matter.

6. I'll settle for the release of just one damning document that was torn up.

Until the Select Committee releases one, people will be skeptical that it was a serious violation.

Committee staff has had time to review the documents. Maybe it’s time for a preliminary report.

We all know trump was a cruddy Prez and likely criminal. But it’s time for some evidence.

Harry Littman was just on and he rattled off an old statute that he says can easily be proven to nail MF45. He said it doesn't even matter if the documents he was tearing up were classified, they only had to be public documents.

In light of the boxes being found at Mar-A-Lago, we'd love it if the media could follow up on this angle.

He stated the law that Trump violated. He also stated that with the news of confidential documents that he Believes DOJ won't have a choice, it will have to open an investigation.

I mean, Hillary's case wasn't the same but the FBI was all over her so hey Merrick, let's be partisan and return the favor to MF45.

Katyal also emphasized that there is no way that Trump wasn't told early on to preserve documents, was told early on to use government phones.

Time to bring it.

He claims this is a no brainer prosecution and DOJ should be on the case now.

Hey Pete Williams, as Karen says in the Kayak commercial, "Open your eyes."
