I loathe it when people drag their kids into political things. Especially protests, where you hope things will remain peaceful, but you have no guarantee that they will.

I doubt they're "endangered" or "Just like ISIS!" (do we not do perspective anymore?), but kids need to be kept far away from adult matters such as this.

You just want to shake one of the parents and say, "You do know most people seeing this thinks you're an asshole of a parent, right? You see how this comes off, yeah?"

But the people who do it usually don't. After all, their children are merely extensions of themselves, and that is pure narcissism.
