(24,770 posts)Crime over here is mind-blowing.
Maybe I have this wrong - but seems to be alot of white male Proud Boys variety. Jacked-up high end pickup trucks, hit and run retail theft. Brazen. The faces I can see are all white.

(36,747 posts)These places need to be comfortable taking credit cards, debit cards and depositing cash regularly.

(14,494 posts)Create a virtual currency just for that line of trade and a virtual bank for buying and storing your coins.
But I'm sure something that simple would never work due to the cancer of criminal minds and the hubris of evangelical conservatives..

(22,166 posts)carrying the cash from pot sales (I assume to banks etc. elsewhere) and they rob...opps stop them and seize the money without charging a crime (see Steve Lehto's YouTube show on this Asset forfeiture play by the sheriff). This asset forfeiture business has got to stop as police agencies all across the Country are stopping vehicle for some nefarious or made-up cause, asking about cash in the vehicle and then seize the cash implying that one couldn't have that much cash unless it was drugs involved. Of course, nothing illegal is committed or was committed but the cash is kept, and the victim(s) have to file suit for their money to be returned.
If there wasn't so much cash involved w/ these sales (all debit/credit card sales), then these cops would not be 'robbing' / making fake excuses to pull over people to see if they have cash on them and steal it so much. I do support the police departments but when they are so out of control like this, it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

(5,559 posts)Blaming the businesses for the robberies is like blaming beer for my big belly.
Take away my beer, I'll overindulge with some other kind of alcoholic beverage.
Restrict the shops, and the robbers will simply shift targets as well.
