Two White men are facing criminal charges after a Black FedEx Express driver alleged that he was chased and shot at while delivering packages in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

When he called police to report the shooting, he says he was told by the dispatcher that they had just received a call about a suspicious person at the same address.

D'Monterrio Gibson, 24, told CNN by phone he was delivering packages to a home around 7 p.m. on January 24 when he saw a white pickup truck coming from the house behind it.

These "law abiding" gun owners should face civil rights charges (as well as an attempted murder state charge) and should never be allowed to own a gun again.

Not that it matters. It wouldn't have taken much cypherin to see that he was delivering packages, not stealing them, or anything else.

This was a lynching. They weren't protecting anything. They were on offense not defense.

But they will get off wit a misdemeanor disturbing the peace in the end. I doubt a grand jury will be presented with a compelling case.

The father and son have NOT been charged with attempted murder. There are charges but no attempted murder. Love to hear that explanation.

There is only one solution FedEx drivers must carry fully auto ARs. Also OSHA should require all workers to wear bullet proof garments. Really, this is where our society is!!!! Hundred bucks says they are both NRA members.

25. These days, packages get delivered by all sorts of people in all sorts

of vehicles. You'd think people would be used to seeing people carrying packages to houses and businesses. I guess, though, if you are a racist, you only see the race of the delivery person and make your poor judgment based only on that. Trouble is that, if you have a gun in your hand, you see the delivery person as a target. Bad idea.
