The right is flooded with nonsense to drown out reality. Time has come to counter

On every winger post, news thread, personality’s lies and call out the lies.

Long time ago bunch of us decided that it wasn’t worthwhile to try and persuade people that didn’t have an ear for the truth but if we just keep letting them spread lies without objection things are not going to get any better. Will we change their mind in a post? Probably not but it will raise doubts at least if it seen regularly. “That’s not true” “Yes that would be very bad if it were true but it is not at all. Don’t you wonder why these people are lying to you all the time? It’s Covid a hoax? (Insert prior commonly accepted lies here to show them their earlier gullibility.)

Drip drip

If many of us take this on, it will at least make a dent. We have so much to lose if we continue to play with outdated rules.
,
An example- Pete Souza has chosen Rep Ronnie Jackson, tfg’s former “doctor” for regular call outs. For myself I would be more polite but just as relentless, pointed and brief. Not all his posts are about Ronnie but when he gets going they are pretty great.

Bear in mind that a lot of folks never hear the idea that they are being lied to from all R channels, ever and they vote.
I have to think that when they finally realize how they are being hustled they are going to be pretty mad at those guys there’s a better way to reach them doing that too.

I think the elected people and pundits merit argument. I don’t think it makes any sense to get into arguments with boys, just to clarify.

...but if you want a substantial (or even marginal) impact you'll need to organize something a lot larger than a handful of people here.

any. Help me out. I'm game. We may not change any minds but we can do our part to drown them out., talk over them, change the topic etc.

Any of them really, they all have Twitter accounts. Hawley is very deserving. Aloha.

If only we could reach the audiences of right wing media. That venue is sewn up pretty tightly. They don't get shown the truth or even real news.
However, when we can we need to call it out. Not doing so is as bad as agreeing with it--complicity.
