With apologies to Rudyard Kipling, a good leader is someone who keeps their head when those around them are losing theirs and blaming it on .... whoever or whatever is handy.¹

What about her emails? Nada What about the nukes in Iraq? Nada What about Gulf of Tonkin, the shame of Gitmo? What about the recent attempted coup? Page 15, bit of The Majors in America are not interested in truth so much as their own wealth and power. Isn’t it obvious by now? |

9. I have a sneaking suspicion
this is a LOT about that new Russian LNG pipeline vs. Nato-aligned frackers wanting Europe to buy their stuff instead. Since Germany is highly invested in the pipeline's success, and its main European beneficiary, it's been a little "weak" on supporting the fracking side. Shipping LNG via tankers across the Atlantic simply can't complete with a pipeline from Mother Russia.
So here we have, yet still again, another oil-based war 'a-simmering. Sure wish we had embraced Conoco's brochure slogan from the 1970's: "Someday we may realize that oil is much too valuable to burn." |
