A New Version Of The Mueller Report Reveals That Mueller Declined To Charge Donald Trump Jr. And Roger Stone With Computer Crimeshttps://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/jasonleopold/robert-mueller-declined-charge-trump-jr-roger-stone
The new version of the report on Muellers investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election also said that Mueller declined, citing insufficient evidence, to charge the political operative Roger Stone with crimes related to the hacking of Democratic National Committee computers and email accounts. And the report did not establish that the Trump campaigns then-director of national security, JD Gordon, was acting as an agent of Russia when he arranged for changes to the Republican platform during the 2016 convention.
The new version of the Mueller report contains nearly a dozen new unredacted passages and was released in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by BuzzFeed News in 2019. The lawsuit sought portions of the report that would reveal the identities of people Mueller considered charging and whose names were originally redacted. A lower court ruled against BuzzFeed News, which appealed to the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit last year. Today's release marks the third time BuzzFeed News has forced the Justice Department to unredact portions of the 448-page report.

(2,748 posts)Complete waste of time and money by an"investigation" that was completely meaningless and whose entire goal was to placate the masses....

(2,748 posts)They got a few small fish and diverted attention from the real criminals, wasted millions of dollars and kept the main results secret...Just another attempt to allow criminals (politicians) to break laws that the rest of us are required to follow.

(51,134 posts)You realize that is a contradiction, right? You are saying that the DoJ putting #FailedCoupGuy's criminal campaign staff in jail was allowing people commit crimes, that's just plain ridiculous.
You really think that the entire "investigation was justified by the end result of a few staffers going to jail???
Small fish paid a price the big boys are laughing yet,the big boys seem to be immune to prosecution so far.

So, if you don't have the evidence how do you charge a crime?
Maybe Mueller should have charged and hoped to dazzle a judge and jury with bullshit?
I'm really not sure what this "revelation" is supposed to prove.
Unless it just further proves Mueller's incompetence which i thought was fairly evident already.
On edit:
Just noticed this earth shaking "revelation" is from Jason Leoplod (sic) of "24 business hours" fame.
All i need to know.
He should be charged with a coverup, that is what they did.
