When a MASTER DIPLOMAT like Joe Biden speaks, aggressors pull back.

Aggressors = Putin

It appears that the Russian Army is pulling back from the Ukrainian borders, according to early reporting.

My personal beef isn't with the Russian Army, it's with their tyrannical Authoritarian leader, Vlad the Impaler.

If this were leg wrestling..

Joe Biden just rolled Vlad like a marble.

He didn't go to all that trouble and expense just to slink back home with his tail between his legs. He's going to get as much out of this macho-man stunt as he can. I'm sure the Biden administration and NATO are watching him carefully.

.

He might pull back then forward several times to wear down the Ukrainian soldiers who might be on on high alert.

After several days on high alert, those standing guard are easier to overcome.

of course they have to stay on top of this and other issues in this country and around the world.

There were suggestions of possibility of Russia being asked to also join Nato which I think would put Putin at some ease. I don't know.

Biden's making no concessions with Putin.
Because He's Joe Biden!

Vlad loses either way.
Maybe Vlad should have just stayed the hell out of our 2016 election instead of buying himself a dumb tree stump, who failed so badly that Vlad now finds himself staring up at Joe freakin Biden! One of our smartest & finest foreign policy strategists for humanity on the planet.

Just caution about the reporting.

The "early reports" are from a Russian Army spokesman. Which means the Russian government. Which means Putin.

Are you willing to trust Putin on his word?

I think Biden handled the situation very well, but everyone knows not to trust Putin, EVER. So we applaud our President with a cautious eye of Putin. And you know that with his broad foreign policy experience, Biden doesn't trust him either.

The Defense Ministry’s announcement was the strongest sign yet that Russia might be trying to de-escalate the military standoff on the Ukrainian border. NATO’s secretary general urged caution, saying the alliance had “not seen any sign of de-escalation.”

Biden and his team have played this exactly right. You cannot appease a thug who wants what he wants at any cost. Standing up, shoring up allies and not yielding is the only way to proceed even when the risk is enormous bc appeasement will only produce more aggression.

We've seen these moves throughout history.

And if there's one thing President Biden knows intimately it's the psychology of a bully. They neither expect nor are they prepared for an actual challenge by those they consider weak and vacillating.

Putin has painted himself into a corner. No one believes the on-going propaganda (other than Republicans). He doesn't have Trump to bend over on command, and he's unpopular on the home front.

Doesn't mean he won't give it up. He could be stalling while frantically trying to protect assets or hoping the West caves. I don't see the latter happening.

The situation is still very dicey.
