According to a report from the Daily Beast, while Donald Trump and his family were reeling from a New York Times report that the Trump Organization's accounting firm was severing ties with the company while casting doubts about the past ten year's worth of financial statements, the family suffered another sting blow in a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C.
As the Beast's Jose Pagliery reported, the Trump organization -- and specifically Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump -- are now facing the prospect of going to trial in a case involving the misuse of inauguration donations back in 2017.
According to the report, Washington D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine is seeking to take Donald Trump and members of his family to court over more than a million dollars that the prosecutor maintains was used illegally.

(1,000 posts)Apparently Eric is sweating. I got a 12 hour suspension from twitter for "EricTrump Please hold your breath until Durham saves you grifters from your own corruption. Apparently the old idiom of "hold your breath until that happens- used to tell someone not to expect something to happen for a very long time, was an incitement to self harm. Or so according to Twitter administrators.
Yet somehow according to Trump "Robert Durham" has the proof that requires Hillary Clinton to be hung for treason is not stochastic terrorism along the lines of "hang Mike Pence."

(11,142 posts)I am not so sure about that. The thought that someone as slimy and vacuous as he is enjoying foreign fans is scary, even if they keep him. And, they can, as far as I am concerned!

(7,794 posts)Hopefully we'll find that, when it comes to the notoriety of the accused, the prosecution doesn't care either.

he needs a serious time out in a padded cell. but then, so does his dad.
hope the prosecutor does his job well. these life long grifters need a serious legal "flogging"... and be bankrupted to oblivion.
imo.

(18,567 posts)... at this point in media history, can anything Trump get a fair trial? Surely any jurors in the land are prejudiced one way or the other, and a judge would be hard-pressed to be impartial.

(41,631 posts)She was Melania's senior staffer until she was fired in 2018, and later blamed for mismanaging funds during the 2017 inauguration. Well the book tells another story altogether, it was the Chump kids who siphoned money off the donated funds. I'll bet Ms. Wolkoff will be called as a witness if this goes to trial.

I went down, down, down

And it burns, burns, burns
