I’m not always right. I predicted cyber attack would occur at 9pm local but I guess they wanted to infect banks during business hours.

If Ukraine has 2/3 anti-tank missiles for every Russian tank & APC, Putin will pack up & go home.
We can thank our Military Leaders for thinking ahead.

Russia will pound the shit out of any position, building, defilade or birdfeeder that might hide a Javelin team. With arty and missiles.
Ukraine is outnumbered and outgunned.
I believe they will only bloody the Russian nose... and Putin don't care.
I'm hoping the invasion won't happen.

Theme should be 'A missile for every household in Ukraine.'

I'll bet, only opinion at this point, that President Joe has already done something like this.

So far, Joe is standing strong and Putin is doing what bullies do - posture.

much obsolete now. The British got rid of theirs.

You can't use tanks at all if you don't control the skies. If you control the skies, there isn't really anything for tanks to fight, since they are designed to fight other tanks. Sure, you can use them to take out bunkers and stuff, but we have other cheaper ways of doing that. Send tanks out where there are teams with those Javelin missiles, and they are toast.

all of those emergency rations and vitamins they bought from Alex Jones for just such an event, don't they. Oh, and the sanitary perineum towelettes, too!

You have survivalists in your family too, huh?
My brother is probably in his bunker right now. Of course he'll be in there alone, because his wife and children left him over this nonsense, but he'll be safe.

Best hope would be to enforce severe economic sanctions and hope that the administration elected in 2024 continues them as well. Putin has developed strong ties with China to help him through this.

We need to more actively foment domestic opposition to Putin in Russia. Putin is the richest man on earth because his cronies have robbed the country, yet Russia's economy is smaller than France's or Italy's and most of Russia's revenues come from fossil fuels, so their regular economy without that is very weak.

The average Russian would be far better off if Putin was gone and instead of hostility toward the west, they integrated with western Europe and could some day become part of the EU.
