I spent several days there last week with her. I didn't realize the ferocity of the dispute, in my visits there. Only whisperings of a Qanon mayor and lots of SOS signs. Not widely covered in local paper, as I recall.

I come from a "mixed" family - one sibling is a christofascist. She lives in the same small town...
