About those Hearts...

The Glory Of Love.

They are sweet to receive, they are wonderful to give.

This has been one hard year for all of us. COVID, yes. It has hit us hard. On top of that many DUers have lost loved ones, not just COVID. We lost those we loved to aging. My heart goes out to all of you.

It is hard to say goodbye. It will take us all some time to get use to the idea.

Be kind to each other.

Hearts~

Not COVID.

Yet under COVID rules... All of us had to be so careful. We were careful.

I kept it away from mom.

given her.

Everything you did helped her. And she'll never, ever forget.

Just having a hard time tonight. She died as we were shifting her to a more comfortable position.

My sister gave me the blood pressure cuff as she reached for the phone. It was zero. Then she called and we waited for the police and hearse.

That's such a painful memory. I wish I could give you a hug in person.

I can't, but I can remind you of that beautiful sign you already received from your mom, who'd want you to remember all the happy, loving times with her, rather than those final moments. And she'd want you to picture her young and healthy again.

All the caregiving was hard on you, but it was a blessing for her to have you there. And it made you stronger, even if you might not feel that way right now.

Sending love and hugs...
